The 2024 Sagicor Sigma ‘Honour’ Run has raised a record $109 million for its three beneficiaries – the Savanna-La-mar Public General Hospital, the National Chest Hospital and the Danny Williams School for the Deaf.
KINGSTON, Jamaica The $100 million target set by the Sagicor Foundation for its three beneficiaries was surpassed at Sunday morning’s Sigma Honour Run in New Kingston. President and chief executive officer (CEO) of Sagicor Group Jamaica, Christopher Zacca, announced that the 26th staging of the run garnered over $109 million. Proceeds from the fundraising event will benefit the Savanna-La-Mar Public General Hospital, the National Chest Hospital, and the Danny Williams.
The countdown to the 26th staging of the Sagicor Sigma Honour Run, set for February 18, is in full swing as scores of supporters turned out to a series of lead-up activities aimed at raising funds for the event’s ambitious $100 million fundraising.
