The City of Manila has recorded over 400 active coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases on the first day of 2022. As of Jan. 1, a total of 435 COVID-19 cases were recorded in Manila, the highest number seen since the start of November where about 430 cases were recorded on Nov. 2.
