ProLiteracy has awarded $130,184 in grants to adult literacy programs nationwide this year. The National Book Fund®, now in its 26th year, has distributed more than 1,900 grant awards totaling more than $3 million worth of materials to adult literacy organizations across the United States.
Kevin Morgan, president and CEO of ProLiteracy, delivers National Book Fund materials to Tara Truett, Donna Bocketti, and Wayne Drummond of Madison County Reads Ahead.
“While adult literacy programs are unsure of future funding sources, the National Book Fund® is one of the ways that ProLiteracy is committed to helping local adult literacy programs each year, said Kevin Morgan, president and CEO of ProLiteracy.
