Canadian broadcaster TVOKids has commissioned an unscripted series that teaches children to dance.
Coproduced by TVOKids and Sarah Haasz’s Pillango Productions, Let’s Dance (39×7’) is an upbeat dance-coaching series for children aged three to eight.
Set in the studios of the National Ballet School of Canada, Let’s Dance sees ordinary kids learn simple dance routines, with each episode ending with a performance at a surprise location.
From breakdancing to Bollywood, country to K-pop, dancers explore the world of movement as they mash up a variety of dance styles.
Federation Kids & Family is handling worldwide distribution of the series, which debuts on TVOKids this September.

Federation Kids & Family has partnered with TVO in Canada and Canadian producer Sarah Haasz to launch the docu-style kids’ series
Let’s Dance.
The TVOkids original is an unscripted dance coaching series for children aged 3 to 8. The series is co-produced by TVOkids and Pillango Productions, a new production venture created by Haasz. Federation Kids & Family will handle worldwide distribution.
Set in the National Ballet School of Canada,
Let’s Dance features ordinary kids with big personalities who love to dance. Each child learns a simple dance routine, and each episode ends with a finale performance at a surprise location. The dance routines have been created for any age and skill level by choreographer Jordan Clark, winner of
Steve Lund (Blue Mountain State), premiering Saturday, May 8, on Hallmark Channel.
Trading in her long skirts, horse travel, and rugged lifestyle behind, she portrays a top-level travel agent Hanna, (Hudon), who her company asks to forgo her family holiday cruise and travel to the Ice Hotel to research it as a vacation destination. Hanna convinces her best friend Phoebe (
Kathryn Kohut), who is sad about a recent breakup, to join her.
When they arrive at the hotel, Hanna is dazzled with its icy wonder and meets Ben (Lund), the designer and co-owner. Hanna and Phoebe enjoy all the luxuries the Ice Hotel offers, from the outdoor spa to snowshoeing.
