SUBANG JAYA: The latest information concerning the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine will be reviewed and presented in a meeting soon, says Khairy Jamaluddin.
The coordinating minister for the country’s vaccination programme noted that the European Medicines Agency (EMA) recently announced that there was a possible link between the vaccine and rare cases of blood clots.
“After the EMA announcement, we have decided to review our decision with the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee that will meet in two weeks.
“We will then hear any additional information that will be presented by the panel of experts before we make any decision, ” said Khairy.
