Educational institutions closure resented

Educational institutions closure resented March 13, 2021 PESHAWAR: The members of the National Association For Education (NAFE) Friday staged a protest here against the government’s decision on the closure of the educational institutions. The protesters were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the closure of the educational institutions. They chanted anti-government slogans as well. Led by the regional president of the association, Mohammad Ibraheem Khan, the protesters were addressed by a number of speakers. The speakers blasted the government for what they called anti-education decisions. They said that the education system had been badly affected owing to the flawed decisions of the rulers.

FAISALABAD: Teachers, principals and administrators of many private schools on Wednesday staged a protest rally against the closure of educational institutes due to Covid-19. They chanted slogans against the government and announced that they would not keep their institutions closed after Jan 11. The rally was organised by the National Association for Education and it started from the District Council Chowk and terminated at Kutchery Bazaar. The protesters carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands and against the government policy of educational institutions’ closure. They told reporters that marriage halls, shopping malls and markets were open and doing their business. However, they said, the government imposed ban on the educational institutions considering them a major source of virus spread.
