Piotr Parkhomchik said: “The government has passed a program on developing Belarus' microelectronics industry till 2030. All the documents on cooperation in this area have been signed with the Russian side, including a roadmap, which provides for creating four new technologies to master the manufacturing of 88 products.”
The official remarked that as part of the roadmap the sides intend to implement the Union State Machine Tool project in order to create a sought-after machine tool out of Belarusian and Russian components. Piotr Parkhomchik said: “The Belarusian nuclear power plant was commissioned in November. It was the most important event for our country. Since the first unit of the nuclear power plant was connected to the power grid, as much as 20.9 billion kWh of electricity has been generated."
