The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has sued the leadership of the National Assembly over unexplained details of N344.85 billion in their budget. Joined as defendants in the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/178/2024 and filed last Friday are Senate President, Mr Godswill Akpabio and Speaker of House of Representatives, Mr Tajudeen Abbas. Mr Akpabio and Mr Abbas are sued for themselves and on behalf of all members of the National Assembly.
