A new art installation was unveiled at the National Arts Centre on Monday. Titled Heartbeat of Mother Earth the mixed media art piece showcases aspects of Algonquin culture and tradition, recognizing the history and geography of this region.
The seventh edition of the event marked the first time the networking dinner and discussion was held in person since 2019 and drew a sold-out crowd of 150 attendees to the National Arts Centre.
Today we talk to artists who have upcoming concerts in Ottawa. Greg Keelor has been releasing albums as a member of Blue Rodeo for almost 35 years, and the group recently released its 15th album, "Many A Mile." We talk to Greg about some of the sentiments expressed on this album and how he and his bandmates feel blessed to be still making music all these years later.
