Plan brings Share A Dream memories | News, Sports, Jobs

Mar 4, 2021 Two decades ago, this region was captivated by an event that included lots of big rigs. Each year, Share A Dream truck drivers would gather and take youths on a ride around the community as a way of boosting spirits. A family in Brocton is hoping to restart that tradition. After a 10th birthday party for Nathen Lindstrom that featured trucks driving by during the pandemic, his mother, Johnnie, made a pitch for a larger-community gathering. She calls it a Horns for Hope Convoy. She made her first pitch to the Brocton Village Board last month. “It’s definitely spreading and we’re looking for community feedback,” she said. “This is something great and something we can do even now. It will bring a lot of joy for all of us that remember the old parades, and for those who want to participate.”
