BALLINGER – A Lubbock man was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle crash five miles north of here, the Texas Department of Public Safety said in a news release.
Brandon Blake Johnson, 29, of Lubbock was a passenger in a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 83 at about 6 p.m., when the SUV veered into the southbound lane and struck a 2013 Toyota Rav 4, the release said.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suburban driver Nathan R. Perry, 36, of Silverton and Toyota driver Josephine Nash, 20, of New Braunfels were transported to Ballinger Memorial Hospital with stable/incapacitating injuries, the release said.
