Got vaccinated? Lincoln resident wants you to share status with a pin
Nathan Kocon, of Lincoln, has created a line of pins to communicate whether someone has been vaccinated for COVID-19.
LINCOLN – Hope is on the horizon. That’s the message Lincoln resident Nathan Kocon is spreading through the creation of pins to promote COVID-19 vaccine awareness.
“There have been so many conversations about how we’ll know how people are vaccinated,” said Kocon, 38, who was inspired to take action after losing a childhood friend during the pandemic.
He teamed up with his neighbor, Jimmy, who has been manufacturing pins for more than 25 years. Jimmy worked his contacts, and he and Kocon pulled together an artist to assist with designing a line of “COVID-19 Vaccinated” pins.
