Officials with the Yavapai-Apache Nation say an officer who was shot and left seriously injured on Feb. 9 is now out of the ICU. Meanwhile, the suspect in the shooting may have been found dead, according to officials.
CAMP VERDE, Ariz. (AP) A Yavapai-Apache Nation police officer who was shot and wounded by a gunman last week has been moved out of a hospital’s intensive care unit and is being transferred to a rehabilitation facility, authorities said Tuesday.
Sgt. Preston Brogdon, the Yavapai-Apache Police Department officer who was shot last week, is making improvements and has been transferred out of the ICU.
