The Chestnut Ridge School Districtâs school board on Tuesday approved an updated comprehensive plan that focuses on better preparing students for post-secondary success.
The comprehensive plan spans July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2024, and is a requirement of the Pennsylvania Department of Education. It lists its established priorities as positioning students for the post-secondary workforce through science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)-related fields, increasing test scores for all students, and preparing students to compete and thrive in post-secondary education settings.
The document outlines numerous action plans in order for the district to meet certain goals, according to a copy of the plan on the districtâs website.
