Trailing 6-1 in the fourth inning, Frontier baseball coach Chris Williams wanted to see some fire from his team during Saturday’s independent tilt against Amherst.

Frontier rallied in the waning innings, using a six-run bottom of the sixth inning to come all the way back for an 11-6 victory over the Hurricanes in South Deerfield.
“We now know that we can come from behind late in games,” offered Williams of his team’s response to the deficit. “At any inning, we can explode for a bunch of runs. When it comes tournament time, I think that’s going to be a good thing for us to remember.”

Some of those protections include housing safeguards, federal food programs, paid leave, pandemic unemployment benefits and a pause on paying down student loans.
