About 1:15 p.m. on Friday, July 15, 2022, Natchitoches Police Officers responded to a business in the 900 block of Keyser Avenue regarding a disturbance that occurred in the store.
Upon arrival officers located Edward Weathers (B/M, 48 y.o.a. of Natchitoches) suffering from a gunshot wound.
Weathers was pronounced deceased by the Natchitoches Parish Coronerâs Office as a result of his injuries.
The Natchitoches Police Department will release more details as they become available.
