The Queensland government is being called upon to better recognise fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) as a disability in schools by a passionate researcher, with the support of parents, caregivers, and experienced health practitioners.

STUDENTS at two specialist schools in Wiltshire have received new toys, games and other items to use in their classrooms following a successful charitable campaign from a local company. Office Evolution, based in Melksham, approached their customers Larkrise School (now Silverwood School) and Fairfield Farm College in Dilton Marsh in December and asked them to create a wish list of items they would love to have in their classrooms, but couldn’t afford to purchase themselves. Thanks to the kind generosity from local businesses, along with the office supplies company themselves match-funding every donation given, these schools have now received gift packages of their chosen items.
