A 2-year-old California boy has been found alive and unharmed after being abducted by his father who allegedly killed the toddler’s mother.
Celestine John Stoot Jr., 42, is accused of murdering his girlfriend, 43-year-old
Natasha Denise Barlow of San Jacinto, and then abducting the couple’s two-year-old son in Lake Elsinore, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Stoot fled the scene with the child, prompting an Amber Alert.
The attack happened Monday afternoon at a residence in the 17000 block of Hayes Avenue in Lake Elsinore, according to the police.

The California Highway Patrol announced Tuesday evening that the police have located the two-year-old boy who was abducted by his father, who was on the run in connection with a murder.

LOS ANGELES (KUSI) – A Lake Elsinore man suspected of killing his girlfriend and abducting their 2-year-old son was taken into custody Tuesday in Las Vegas.
Celestine John Stoot Jr., 42, had last been seen Monday, when Riverside County sheriff’s investigators allege that he killed Natasha Denise Barlow of San Jacinto.
According to sheriff’s Sgt. Deanna Pecoraro, the attack occurred Monday afternoon at a residence in the 17000 block of Hayes Avenue in Lake Elsinore.
Pecoraro said patrol deputies were called to the location to investigate reports of a death and found the 43-year-old woman inside the home. The exact cause of Barlow’s death was not specified, and there was no mention of a possible motive.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. - A 2-year-old boy at the center of an Amber Alert has been found safe Tuesday evening, about two days after his disappearance.
At the time of Celestine Stoot III s disappearance, an alert was also issued for his father, 42-year-old Celestine Stoot Jr., who not only named Celestine III s mom s suspected murderer, but also the primary suspect in the boy s disappearance.
FOX 11’s Gigi Graciette confirmed Tuesday that Celestine Stoot Jr. was wanted for the murder of the toddler’s mother, Natasha Denise Barlow. She was killed over the weekend when the father was accused of kidnapping their little boy.
