There is a woman in Beauregard Parish who is changing the lives of shelter dogs every day, for no money, no recognition, she is just an extraordinary woman who is doing what many dog lovers wish they could.
Natascha Kirkeby, a military wife and mother, totes her daughter around to numerous vet appointments, shelters and transport trips working to help get dogs out of the shelters in Beauregard Parish and Vernon Parish.
Kirkeby works with Bucky s Buddies, owned by Jennifer Deason, located in Rosepine.
Bucky’s Buddies is not a shelter, simply a relocation rescue working with sister rescues in northern states, as well as Southwest Louisiana, rescues to find fosters and potential adopters for the dogs of Vernon and Beauregard Parish.
