The dating app announced Monday in a press release that it has made a “significant contribution” to Garbo, a nonprofit organization that runs these checks. Due to this contribution, Tinder users will soon be able to access the information provided by Garbo for themselves. “Today’s justice system is too focused on crimes against society and property that violent perpetrators are often not convicted,” says Garbo’s website. “This enables them to continue their abuse with little to no repercussions or accountability for their actions.”
