Back in May, our photographers rang the doorbells of people across Angus to document how they were coping and illustrate lockdown in pictures. People were cautiously optimistic; lockdown appeared to be working to suppress the virus. The summer passed by in a blur, followed by Halloween and the festive season.

Mother reveals her heartbreak over not being able to say goodbye to her murdered daughter

A murdered McDonald s worker begged for her mother in her final moments but was unable to say goodbye because her callous killer threw away her phone, her heartbroken parents have revealed. Natalie Jarvis, 23, was stabbed twenty times by her on-off boyfriend Adam Whelehan in 2012, after the BT apprentice was encouraged to kill her by his friends in a sick dare.  Now, in a candid interview her parents Adele and Mark, and her sister Gemma have revealed their heartbreak eight years on from her death, and shared how they still visit the crime scene in a desperate plea for closure as they still have no explanation for the reason s behind her daughter s death.
