With plenty on the line with regard to conference championship implications, the Houston High School softball team came up with a huge victory by downing Willow Springs 10-7 Thursday at Carter Field.
Following the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 3 District Championships last Saturday at Jeremy’s Creek Golf Course in Lamar, Houston High School’s cross country program will be represented by one runner at this week’s state championships in Columbia: Junior Kristen Ely.
The first meet of the season went pretty well for Houston High School’s cross country teams, as both the boys and girls took third in their division in the annual Steve Waggoner Invitational last Thursday at Willow Springs Municipal Golf Course.
