BringCom appoints new MD for Datanet in Uganda Sign in with LinkedIn 8h | Natalie Bannerman BringCom has named Allen Chimhende as the new managing director of Datanet, a provider of connectivity solutions and network services to enterprise customers in Uganda. Chimhende enters the role with a wealth of telecoms and managerial having previously served as managing director in multiple East African countries, including Uganda. His appointment forms part of the strategic acquisition plan of Datanet by BringCom, in which the company expanded its service coverage beyond Uganda in 2020 by managing new commercial customers in East and West Africa. As such, Chimhende will further support in the execution of its strategy as well as launch additional services in the region. Under his leadership, BringCom aims to position Datanet as a competitive communication solutions provider in the region.
