Hit-and-run driver in Florida kills federal judge, hits boy, claims she’s Harry Potter: police

Operating the vehicle was Nastasia Snape, 23, of North Lauderdale, police reports say.
At least three witnesses told cops that Snape was driving erratically as she made her way northbound on Ocean Boulevard. At NW 40th Street, Snape swerved onto the sidewalk, striking Sandra Feuerstein, 75, the report says.
Snape sped on, striking the boy as he made his way across the crosswalk, according to the report.
She didn’t stop until she reached Delray Beach, where officers found her unconscious inside her vehicle, which had crashed at an intersection, arrest documents state.

A woman who claimed to be Harry Potter is in custody after a deadly hit and run in Boca Raton on Friday.
Police say 23-year old Nastasia Snape went around stopped traffic, driving onto a sidewalk. She struck two pedestrians, including 75-year old Federal Judge Sandra Feuerstein and a 6-year old boy.
The judge died. The boy suffered serious injuries.
Investigators say Snape fled the scene and later crashed her vehicle in Delray Beach. That s where she told paramedics that she was the boy wizard and claimed she had not been in an accident.
Police found a synthetic drug known as T salts in her purse. They are known to cause erratic behavior.

New York federal judge Sandra Feuerstein was killed when she was struck while walking on a sidewalk in Boca Raton, Florida, by an alleged hit-and-run driver, who also ran over a 6-year-old boy, leaving him seriously injured, according to police. Feuerstein, 75, who was apparently vacationing in Florida, was walking on a sidewalk near the beach just after 10 a.m. on Friday when the operator of a red two-door sedan drove around stopped traffic and jumped the curb, hitting Feuerstein on the sidewalk, according to a police report of the incident obtained by ABC News.
