A 33-year-old boxer from Pishin passed away on Sunday after being punched on face by a rival boxer during an event organized by Pakistan Boxing Council at a local club in Karachi.

As per videos viral on social media, the boxer was knocked by a left hook during the bout. While he immediately fell unconscious, a proper medical response couldn’t be seen in the footage.
Boxer Aslam Khan Passes Away After Getting Punched In The Face
In an unfortunate incident, professional kickboxer Aslam Khan lost his life after being knocked out in a local boxing match in Karachi.
Aslam, a renowned kickboxer, was contesting against Mohammad Wali Khan Tareen in cruise weight category bout during “Fight Night Series” organized by Pakistan Boxing Council at a local club in Karachi.
He collapsed in the ring after receiving a punch in the face by Mohammad Wali Khan Tareen.

As per local media reports, the boxer Aslam was rushed to a private hospital at University Road, where he was shifted to ICU. However, he succumbed to his injury. Aslam had represented Pakistan in international kickboxing competitions.

A boxer named Mohammad Aslam haling from Pishin died after being hit on a face by a rival during a fight in Karachi. The 33-year-old was contesting against Mohammad Wali in cruise weight category bout during “Fight Night Series” organised by Pakistan Boxing Council at a local club in Karachi, reported Geo News. The video of the incident has gone viral and it can be seen that after receiving a blow on his face, Aslam lost consciousness and fell on the ground. The fight took place on Sunday (February 01).
The boxer was taken to a private hospital where he was admitted to ICU. He, however, lost the battle and passed away on Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Boxing Federation has disassociated itself from the event and termed it as illegal.

KARACHI: Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) plans to test England-based boxer Hakeem Abdul Hussein in the National Championship which will be held in the last week of February at Lahore.
“Yes, Hakeem wants to play for Pakistan. He plays in 69 kilogramme and is a good boxer. I have seen him playing,” PBF Secretary Col Nasir Tung told ‘The News’ on Wednesday. “We want to test him in the National Championship and see where he stands
“Coach Arshad Hussain also knows him well. Let’s see what happens. If he can be productive for Pakistan then it will be a welcome sign,” Nasir said.
