Naseem Liaqat, Chairman DDC, Rajouri and members of DDC including Sain Abdul Rashid Anita Thakur, Abdul Qayoom Mir, Thakur Rameshwar Singh, Dr. Manohar Singh, and Shamim Akhter, DDC member from Moghla today demanded immediate reopening of Mughal road. The members expressed great concern over the closure of historic Mughal road even in the month of May. Ch. Naseem Liaqat, said that Mughal road has historic importance which should remain opened throughout the year but the same, in essence, is not even a seasonal road as the authorities keep it closed with no reason at all.

  Jammu: Delegations of District Development Council (DDC) members of Rajouri, Islamic Welfare organization and Director Sanik Welfare Department today called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, at Raj Bhavan here. PAGD Wins Top DDC Post In Rajouri

(MENAFN - Kashmir Observer) NC s Naseem Liaqat (in pic), an advocate, won the post of DDC chairperson in Rajouri  Jammu: The People s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) on Friday won the post of District Development Council (DDC) chairperson in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. Rajouri, which is reserved for Scheduled Tribes, went to the polls in the final phase that marked the conclusion of the election process to DDC posts in all the 20 districts of the Union territory, officials said. The win in Rajouri gave PAGD, an alliance of various mainstream parties including National Conference, PDP and CPI(M), its third district in Jammu region.
