A 63-year-old Lautoka man who lost both legs to injuries a few years ago maintains a home garden which sustains his family.
And Sat Narayan Samy urged Fijians not to be idle and make use of the little space they have in their homes and plant so they could sustain their families during the COVID-19 crisis.
“I always have the urge to continue working even though both my legs were amputated four years ago,” he said.
“At first it was a challenge because I found it hard to move around but I convinced myself that my medical condition will not affect my life and I will continue what I do best.
