McDonald’s shows new look, new ways to order ELLSWORTH — The remodeling of McDonald’s High Street location is a hit, manager Valerie Stelline said this week, and the modernized look is coming to the drive-through restaurant’s Bucksport location, too. And just as the High Street location closed for several days before reopening with its new look, the Bucksport location has been closed for over a week as contractors bring its exterior and interior décor into the 2020s. “It’s just about modernizing,” Stelline said. “It seriously needed it.” Featuring more subdued colors but a brighter, overall feel, the remodel included kiosks for customers who prefer ordering on a touch screen rather than at the service counter. And, the beverage station was moved to provide a better customer flow, Stelline said.
