And while many travel restrictions are still in place, six in 10 American travelers are expected to make a beach trip in 2021, according to TripAdvisor.
Lindsay Nelson, the company s brand officer, told
Newsweek: Travel has the transformative power to restore our whole selves, especially after this last year, and we continue to see that so many of America s beaches are the perfect anecdote to be a place of relaxation and healing for so many people desperately wanting to travel again and make up for lost time.

The pandemic has put travel out of reach for so long. With more Americans getting vaccinated, travel to a beach paradise, where you trade the hubbub and crowds of major tourist attractions for relaxing waves and soft sand, is on many travel wish lists again.
Travel site Tripadvisor recently surveyed 2,330 consumers in six countries and found that 60% of travelers are “very likely” to take a beach trip this year.
This list of the site’s Travelers Choice Best of the Best Award for beaches is based on Tripadvisor users’ reviews, ratings and “saves” in 2020.
The claim: A series of images show Tanner s Beach in Georgia
One user recently took to social media to share images of light blue ocean waters that purportedly depict Tanner s Beach in Carrolton, Georgia. Tanner’s Beach, Carrollton, Georgia, the user captioned the images, which were shared to Facebook on March 31.
The post, which has over 600 shares and 200 reactions, includes three different photos of a lagoon with crystal clear water and ships near the shore.
Many users in the comments expressed skepticism, writing, I would love to know where this really is bc it is not in Georgia, and My daughter s friend works for Tanner Beach.my daughter said it looks nothing like this.
