KERKHOVEN Members of the public got to learn the ins and outs of dairy farming for the annual Dairy Days event on Wednesday in Kerkhoven. Participants had the opportunity to take a self-guided tour of the Rod and Naomi Lindquist farm, meet the operators, enjoy ice cream and more. Dairy Days is a yearly celebration of the region’s dairy industry that selects one area dairy farm to host the open house.
Free workshops provide tips and training for volunteering at The Barn Theatre
The COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to live performances at The Barn Theatre in Willmar, but free classes are being offered to teach people skills in everything from acting to building props to create a strong group of volunteers ready to hit the stage again.
