breaking news from southeast washington. police are looking for an escaped inmate. this is what we know so far. the inmate broke free this morning from the united medical center in southeast washington. audrey barnes is joining us live where the manhunt is going on. reporter: j.c., as you said, police from three different jurisdictions, prince georges county police, dc police and the dc department of corrections have fanned out across the district looking for this man a an escaped prisoner. his name is terence owen moore. she 28 years old. moore was in custody for an assault on a police officer last may. they were taking him to greater southeast hospital this morning for a checkup. when they arrived, officers say he busted out of the back of the corrections vehicle and fled on foot. they have not been able to tell us how he managed to get out of hand cuffs and his shackles but they do not belief he is wearing them now. he was wearing a red prisonnen jump suit when they last
