POLICE are continuing to appeal for the driver of a small car which collided with a pedestrian in Prestatyn just over a week ago to come forward. North Wales Police said the pedestrian has been left with serious life changing leg injuries after a small dark car, possibly a Vauxhall Corsa, collided with him at approximately 6.15pm on (Wednesday, December 9) on Bodnant Avenue with the junction of Nant Hall Road. The car had travelled westbound from Gronant Road along Nant Hall Road and had turned right onto Bodnant Avenue. The driver of the car initially stopped, pulled the casualty, a man in his 60s, to one side and then fled the scene, police said.
