NEW DELHI: The second phase of polling in West Bengal was action-packed, as expected. The focus was on battleground Nandigram, which saw high-voltage drama, claims-counterclaims, accusations and counter-accusations through the day.
Chief minister Mamata Banerjee, whose fate was sealed by the voters today, was at her aggressive best. I have never seen an election as bad as this one, claimed Mamata as she accused the BJP of preventing her voters from casting vote at Boyal Moktab Primary School booth.
