A worldwide entrepreneur network plans to assist young technology companies at the Roux Institute at Northeastern University in Portland.
Colorado-based entrepreneur network Techstars said Monday that it has partnered with the technology school to create a business accelerator program intended to provide 10 companies a year with funding, mentorship and access to its network of investors and mentors.
“Bringing the engine that is Techstars to the larger Maine community, in partnership with the Roux Institute, will show startups why Portland can be one of the best environments for growing a business,” said Techstars General Manager Nancy Wolff in a news release.
