the train. we understand that do have power at this point and they re getting air conditioning. but they ve been on board for about an hour. we understand from emergency officials from montgomery county that they will bring in a train from forest glen and offload the passengers and then bring them back the other way. we spoke to someone just a short time ago, someone who was in an office floor about eight floors up. she watched all this happen, and she describes what the metro train operator did when these power lines came down. what actually really frightened us because we said, well, it didn t stop fast enough to hurt anybody. there is the possibility of electrical issues here, but then we say the metro driver get off and start walking back down the tracks, which of course, you know, we were scared to death that he was going to be injured. and i said to my co-worker, i said, can t you yell out the window and tell him to get back on the train and then we saw that we really
