JNS.org – A bipartisan group of senators on Monday urged US President Joe Biden to quickly nominate a candidate to serve as the US Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism and confront rising antisemitism worldwide.
The senators, who make up the Senate Bipartisan Task Force on Combating Antisemitism, sent Biden a signed letter explaining the urgent need for the nomination. The letter was organized by Sens. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) and James Lankford (R-Okla.).

Twenty-two senators sent a bipartisan letter to President Joe Biden yesterday calling on him to “swiftly” nominate an ambassador to monitor and combat antisemitism.
The letter, organized by Sens. Jacky Rosen (D-NV) and James Lankford (R-OK), who lead the Senate Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism, comes as Biden submitted his first round of ambassador nominees all of them career foreign service officials for Senate confirmation on Monday.
The other signatories on the letter are Sens.
