William W (Warren) Bodine III, obituary

Mon, 05/10/2021 - 5:15pm William W. (Warren) Bodine III. ROCKLAND William Warden Bodine III, born February 29, 1948 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, died peacefully on April 30, 2021 of congestive heart failure at the home he shared with his friend, Brian Harden, in Rockland, Maine. Known locally as “Warren,” he was the eldest son of William W. Bodine, Jr. and Louise Dilworth Bodine. He grew up in Villanova, Pennsylvania and attended Episcopal Academy in Malvern, Pennsylvania, and the Westminster School in Simsbury, Connecticut, where he played football and hockey, and sang in the glee club. He graduated from Westminster in 1966 where he was admired by his classmates, many of whom remained lifelong friends.

Robert Charles McGinty, 81, of East Conway, N.H., passed on April 20, 2021, due to complications of Vascular Dementia. Bob grew up in Redstone, N.H., one of five children. He attended Kennett High School graduating Class of 1957. At the age of 15, he met the love of his life, Judy Heath, at the Northway Roller Skating Rink. Bob and Judy would later marry and raise two wonderful daughters and they recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary earlier this month. In his early career Bob worked as a mechanic at Main Street Motor Mart in North Conway. He then began a career with Public Service as a lineman where he spent 30 years until his retirement. Bob worked beside a brotherhood of men who would become lifelong friends.

Advertisement Over 7 years ago, Benny vanished from his house without a trace. His family searched for weeks when he first went missing but became worried about Benny because they lived in the woods. Without a lead on Benny, they began to fear the worst. But Benny was a survivor! In mid-December, a good neighbor found him and brought him to a vet where he was microchipped and then his family was contacted! Owner Nancy Bryant was over the moon, to say the least. She even renamed Benny “St. Nick.”

When Benny the cat went missing seven years ago, his owner did all she could to try to find him.  Nancy Bryant, from New Hampshire, organized search parties in her nearby woods and put up posters in her neighborhood, but after a few weeks, Benny still didn’t show up. Bryant eventually thought another animal got to him, she told People.  However, that wasn’t the case.  Somehow, Benny survived the last seven years on his own and in early December he was reunited with Bryant just in time for Christmas.
