Started out with a little bit of rain in philadelphia. Now we have some very light snow and some of us over to the east that second band coming in later this morning from the west and right now most of what we have is just to the east of philadelphia. We had a little bit of light snowflake activity in the city storm tracker6 live double scan showing is you the majority of the snow were seeing is closer to the coast and temperatures are above freezing over by the coast. Well show you that in a minute. Probably mainly wet roads but if its coming down steady enough you want to use caution. In the west nothing happen just yet but later this morning we speculate those snow showers to start to pop in there as well. Temperatures right now though are above the freezing mark at least by a degree or two

Heres a look at the wet weather moving across the first alert radar. You see the green out there on the screen. Meteorologist is tracking heavy rain and the threat of flooding in neighborhoods this morning. Good morning. This is nbc 10 news today. If you thought it was going to be easy going from the fourth of july into today back to work, we have issues out there between the roads and the Regional Rails. Lets start with our meteorologist. She has the first alert neighborhood forecast. We have a lot of heavy rain, mostly new jersey and delaware. The rest of the area is seeing spotty showers. The heaviest it is sliding into south jersey. Thats where we have a flood advisory. We could be seeing twoun two inches per hour of rain. And there is a chance we could see two to four. Were looking at a thunderstorm along the shore. Also right north of sea aisle city.
