Residents are turning to social media to raise the alarm about the city's water woes. Citizens and advocacy groups are flooding Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's mentions with a clear message: "Let's leverage what worked before!"
“The necessity for a Jana Samparka Sabha to understand people’s problems is an indication that the systemic redressal system or mechanism is not functioning. We require a system that works for citizens every single day, not on a particular Jana Samparka Day,” it said.
This was the first Janaspandana programme, which is aimed at bringing “government to the doorstep”, attended by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Bengaluru Development Minister D K Shivakumar.
