sara the palin could be headed to the house in alaska, one of the questions i ve had, is she going to win? she has name recognition and celebrity. what s your sense of the race right now? well, again, the name id, the celebrity, et cetera, she s essentially the prototrump as well. those are all in her favor. the question is if she wins, is congress big enough for her and marjorie taylor green in that wing of the party as well. that s what i was going to ask you, you lived on the hill in the capitol hill building for many years. we didn t live together, right? but celebrity freshman is always a piece of fascination at the start of any new congress, but i don t know if you know if you re sara palin what it s like to be a back bench member of the
candidate and fresh face all in one, more difficult for the republican governor. some made youngkin out to be donald trump in a fleece vest, but to voters, he was mitt romney, in their eyes. mitt romney who is better on the stump, too. sure, yeah. to your second point, is there really room in a primary for glenn youngkin, anybody who is not donald trump, if donald trump wants to, in fact, run? is that a spoiler campaign? does it get a handful of votes in the suburbs? isn t donald trump at the driver s seat of this party if he wants it? donald trump is always going to be in the driver s seat at the outset if he wants it. he has the name id and money own money. he was president. when you ve done the job, that is a big hurdle. we haven t seen a campaign like this before, but we ve seen when
and don feterman. there are rumors democrats may switch feterman out. dr. oz doesn t need the name id other candidates have. this will be a fun race to watch. when they used to call pennsylvania the blue wall, generic numbers are leaning toward republicans. carley: last state wisconsin and ron johnson is the only republican at risk of losing his race. i remember six years ago polling, everybody said ron johnson wouldn t win and he s the little engine that could. i think he will win this race. carley: when all said and done, what is your prediction? republican versus democrats?
nothing except he voted against the border, border wall. he voted against trump s foreign bill and voted against trump s vaccine. he did anything the club for growth told him to do and that s not the type of senator we need in north carolina right now. you did not get the endorsement of the former president but you clearly have a long track record with north carolina voters. they know you well. is it possible that endorsements are overrated? i think i think what it did was give ted budd name id because nobody knew who he was was. during six years in congress he never got a bill passed, he never accomplished anything. so the major thing it did was put the name ted budd on the map but with no accomplishment. the good news is i don t rely on endorsements. i can rely on a track record of success as mayor for 14 years in charlotte and governor of great state where i lowered the income tax, i lowered the corporate tax and turned deficits into surpluses and i did something that congress
