This was an unfortunate incident that should not have happened.
This was the sentiments of Social Democratic Liberal Party MP Inosi Kuridrani in regards to an incident at Namada Village, Nadroga that landed two youths in police custody for throwing water at a busload of Naitasiri rugby supporters.
“It’s unfortunate that the actions of two boys has led to the incident and I know that it will not stop with police –– those boys will be dealt with accordingly in the village setting,” he said, speaking to this newspaper from his Namatakula Village home.

Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber has revealed the possibility of including some Flying Fijians in the national side to defend the Olympics rugby gold medal in Japan next year.
Baber, yesterday said it would depend on the players’ clubs, especially those playing in Europe.
“I know they are fully back into their season in Europe, they just had some international,” Baber said.
“I know there would be a lot of pressure on them, but the window is at the back end of next May and June.
