Engaging in more than 30 activities during his two-day stay in Davos, PM Chính attended the WEF’s Country Strategic Dialogue on Việt Nam and a dialogue on Việt Nam’s global vision, while also delivering remarks at other events of the WEF Annual Meeting.
President Võ Văn Thường warmly welcomed the German President, expressing confidence that the visit would provide momentum for the comprehensive strategic partnership between Việt Nam and Germany, for the benefit of the people of both countries, and for peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
The visit, the first delegation exchange at the prime ministerial level between the two countries in five years, is taking place in the context of good development of the nearly-75-year-old Việt Nam-Romania traditional ties and cooperation.
Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính addressed the Việt Nam – Romania Business Forum co-organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Vietnamese Embassy in Romania and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania.
Both parties agreed on the positive evaluation of the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Việt Nam and Romania over nearly 75 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations (1950-2024).
