To boost sustainable tourism development, the People’s Committee of Hà Nội has planned to develop an agricultural and rural tourism plannbsp;in tandem with building new-style rural areas in 2022–2025.
The capital city has implemented many high-tech agricultural production models, however, in order to move towards smart agriculture, the city will have to pay more attention to promoting the application of science and technology as well as training high-quality labour resources.
According to the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), Lê Quốc Doanh, this will allow them to save resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the long run.

HÀ NỘI Hi-tech agriculture enterprises need to be provided with easier access to credit. Such access would help them have resources to apply the latest technology and promote the development of agriculture in the era of Industry 4.0.
Hà Văn Thắng, Chairman of the Council of Vietnamese Agricultural Enterprises, said at a forum held by the Việt Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on Thursday that applying technology in agricultural production was vital but enterprises faced a number of barriers.
