Researchers Discover the Largest Radio Galaxy Ever

A research team headed by Martijn Oei, a Dutch PhD student, has identified a radio galaxy of at least 16 million light-years long by a stroke of luck. The plasma plumes pair is the hugest structure made by a galaxy known so far. The result challenges some long-believed hypotheses about the evolution of radio galaxies.

Andy Gray SCOTS comedy legend Andy Gray has died after suffering from a Covid-related illness. The TV star – who rose to fame in City Lights and was more recently a River City actor ¬– was also one of Scotland’s greatest ever panto stars, headlining each year at the King’s Theatre in Edinburgh. Gray, who was 61, had worked with Elaine C. Smith since they were both in their early twenties and went on to appear together in a huge range of comedy productions. The actor says she can’t quite believe her friend has passed away. “The last contact I had with Andy was when we were both appearing on a radio show together, remotely. And after it he sent me a text saying; ‘It was so good to hear your voice.’ And I replied with the same sentiment.
