HOPEWELL A year ago at this time, dozens of women who serve in all sorts of roles in the local craft beer scene were prepared to meet up at Naked Dove Brewing Co. to collaboratively produce a special beer.
Well, you remember what happened a year ago as if anyone could forget COVID-19 and the plan had to be scuttled at the last minute.
But on Monday, International Women’s Day, some of the same women in the local craft beer industry are going to try again to make an IMPACT, quite literally.
That’s the name of the IPA they’re brewing, with a portion of sales going to the purchase of undergarments for the Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner programs, or SAFE, at UR Medicine Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua and Rochester General Hospital.
