京都２区 山下副委員長が訴え
日本共産党の山下芳生副委員長・参院議員は２２日夕、猛暑のなか、衆院京都２区内の２カ所（京都市山科区、同左京区）で演説に立ち「来たる総選挙、近畿ブロックでは日本共産党の議席を現有２議席から４議席以上に伸ばしてほしい」とよびかけました。
たけやま彩子・衆院近畿比例予定候補、ちさか拓晃・京都２区予定候補が訴えました。
そのうえで、党名への疑問に対し、「党名には戦前からの反戦・平和の不屈の歴史が刻まれている。だからこそどんな困難にも絶対ぶれずにがんばりぬくことができる」と力説し、革新の伝統と底力をもつ京都２区での奮闘を訴えました。
