A car crashed into the front of a north Buffalo McDonald s. The Mickey D s is located near the Home Depot plaza, by the Popeye s and Aldi store on Elmwood Avenue. The crash happened around 2 pm on Sunday, January 31, 2021. According to WIVB, the SUV drove into the front of the restaurant, where it stopped halfway in. WKBW reports that it s not known if anyone was injured.

This isn t the first time a vehicle has driven into a building in Buffalo. On Sunday, August 4, 2019, a disgruntled club-goer drove his vehicle into Bottoms Up on Chippewa Street in downtown Buffalo. The man, 24-year-old Najee Shabazz Jackson, was upset that he was kicked out of the club, according to WGRZ. Jackson was charged with reckless endangerment, assault and criminal mischief.
