One of the biggest challenges for Naivasha Women`s Prison inmates was access to clean and safe water. The Red Cross and Kenya Prison Services water project involved the installation of a pipeline connected to the main supply line and an elevated reservoir tank supplying clean, safe, and treated water for use in the cells, kitchen, and washing areas of the prison.
