Jun. 5—STORRS — UConn announced Friday that it has scheduled a home-and-home series with storied rival Tennessee in women's basketball. The Huskies will host the Lady Vols during the upcoming season, then travel to Knoxville for a game during the 2022-23 season. (KWTX) - When Kim Mulkey is inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame Saturday, her former coach and mentor, Leon Barmore, will be back home in Ruston, La., watching on with pride.
Barmore, now retired, is best known for his 35-year association with the Louisiana Tech UniversityLady Techsters, and he knows something about the honor and experience awaiting Mulkey; he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2003.

UNCASVILLE, Conn. (WAFB) - Former Baylor head womenâs basketball coach and newly named LSU womenâs basketball coach Kim Mulkey will be enshrined into the the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Saturday, May 14 in Uncasville, Connecticut.

On April 25, Mulkey was named LSUâs new womenâs basketball coach taking over for Nikki Fargas. Mulkey has six National Championships to add to her illustrious career. Three as the head coach at Baylor, two as a point guard for Louisiana Techm and another title as an assistant coach with the Lady Techsters.
