infectious, the
director of the state health department has issued special guidelines to track and test people who have travelled from the country from November 25 to December 23.
This comes as two citizens from Pune who had earlier travelled to UK tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The health department has asked all such travellers have to be quarantined and treated separately with mandatory genomic sequencing of their samples at the National Institute of Virology (NIV). All citizens who travelled to UK from November 25 to December 23 have to be tracked down and a survey will be conducted.
